It’s been a while since I last blogged, the death of my husband where time stood still, but now I’m back and hope those of you who have enjoyed browsing my website will continue to do so - thank you.

This month marks the beginning of spring, with blooming flowers adding vibrant colours to the already picturesque scenery and the feeling of joy for the sunshine we see and feel. It’s been a long winter.
Woman’s Month
Italy in March is when the whole country celebrates women. It really is tradition to gift women in your life a yellow Mimosa flower. Beautiful time to stroll around in your local town watching evening concerts with festivals taking place.
Beautiful Lady
It is your month
Take some time
Enjoy some treasured moments
Remember everything you have achieved
Praise yourself
For you are strong
You truly are that beautiful flower
That beautiful Lady
Snow melts in most of the country’s mountain regions, and you can still go on a ski trip, in parts of the North.
Milder temperatures for those who prefer sightseeing instead of basking in the hot sunshine of summer with moderate rainfall, making it a fresh and scenic time to visit.
Southern Italy in March brings temperatures ranging from 50°F to 64°F (10°C to 18°C), with an average of 6-8 rainy days. Spring in the south is warm and drier than the winter months.
Coastal areas and countryside start to flourish, with the beauty of the Italian Lakes region changing with the season and bringing areas like Lake Como to life.
So if your still thinking of where to go? why not just take the plunge and book your ticket to “Bella Italia”!
