Reggio Calabria

Coastal city in Southern Italy, seperated from Sicily by the straight of Messina. Situated on the slopes of the Aspromonte a long craggy mountain range that runs up through the center of the region.

This picture is taken in Scilla which is a fishing port and a popular holiday resort.

Pentedattilo - Five Fingers

According to legend it was named the Devil's Hand because the rocks flowed with blood.  Surrounded by an abandoned village since the 19th Century.

View from Reggio Calabria here is Mount Etna which is on the coast of Sicily & is one of the worlds most active volcanoes and the tallest peak south of the alps.

Rome is the capital city of Italy.  Known as the Eternal City, Rome’s history spans 28 centuries. Rome is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula and is one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in Europe.  Within its boundaries it contains the Vatican City, which is the smallest country in the world and is the only existing example of a country within a city.
